Youth Programs
Temple Anshe Sholom
prides itself on its strong youth programs. Students are encouraged to
participate in the Youth Choir from 3rd through 6th grade and enjoy going to
the annual youth choir retreat at Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute Camp in the
spring of each year. Once in high
school, our students participate in the High School Havurah program,
combining a youth group with continuing high school religious education.
Some of the highlights of the High School Havurah program include special
Monday night programming and trips to Washington D.C. and to Israel.
Nine of our High School Havurah students journeyed to Washington, D.C. to attend the L'Taken Seminar sponsored by the Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism.

Principal's Message
I can hardly believe another great year is coming to an end but we still have a few more events to go!
On our final day of Sunday School, May 2nd, we will all meet at the Anita Stone Community Center in Flossmoor for the Walk with Israel.
This will be a great way to end our year and celebrate the State of Israel with our Temple and community.
On Friday, May 14th, we will have our 7th grade Hebrew School graduation as well as our 8th grade Sunday School graduation.
Services begin at 7:30 p.m.
Our final event of the year is our 10th grade Confirmation.
This will be on Tuesday, May 18th at 7:30 p.m.
We look forward to celebrating these milestones with our families.
As our year comes to an end, I want to thank everyone who has helped to make it a great year. Our parents and students make our school what it is.
We wouldn't be here without you! And thank you to our Room Parents and Religious School Committee, lead by Beth Lichtenberg -- your hard work is greatly appreciated.
And finally, our incredible teachers who give so much of themselves each and every class, you are so truly amazing.
